Who we are
We're educators who got tired of watching families waste time and money on college admissions nonsense.
Truth is, most college prep is pure theater - fake padding, random activities, constant stress. And we’re uncomfortable with how kids are encouraged to lie to make themselves look better. What kind of message does that send?
We take a different approach.
Mike founded a high school and ran innovation programs at Harvard. Sean's a perfect SAT scorer who's spent his career helping students actually reach their potential, not just talk about it.
Together, we help students:
Get the SAT scores they need (no gimmicks, just proven strategies)
Build real achievements that matter (not just resume padding)
Create applications that stand out (through substance, not spin)
If you want straight talk and strategies that work, let's talk.
Meet Mike and Sean
Mike Goldstein
Dad, educator, entrepreneur who has spent twenty-five years figuring out what actually helps students succeed. Started by founding an award-winning high school, then was invited to scale it at Harvard's Innovation Lab, then helped launch hundreds of schools all over the world. Cheerfully partners with Nobel Prize-winning economists to measure what works (and what doesn't). Takes pride in having helped thousands of students find their own way through adolescence, including the college process - no fake achievements or pointless stress required. Now he's doing it as a dad too, navigating the process with his own teens at home in Boston (plus one very enthusiastic doodle, Mr. Grizzly Goldstein).
Sean Geraghty
Started as a Chicago math teacher helping struggling students excel, then built it into something bigger - leading academic programs that transformed outcomes for thousands of kids. Now combines that teaching experience with perfect SAT scores to help students find their path. Has guided students to everything from Ivy League admissions to great state schools to gap years to community colleges, always focused on finding the right fit. Wants the best for your kid, not fake prestige, and is obsessed with unlocking what makes them great. Lives in Rhode Island with his wife and three kids, where he'll soon learn the college process from the parent side.
